DMCA Policy
In compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), AtlantaCorner has adopted the following policy regarding copyright infringement. We reserve the right to:
- Remove or restrict access to materials we believe in good faith to be copyrighted content that has been unlawfully reproduced or distributed by users, affiliates, advertisers, or content providers.
- Suspend or terminate service to repeat copyright offenders.
Your use of AtlantaCorner’s services is subject to our Terms of Service, which include this Copyright Dispute Policy. Any terms not defined in this section hold the same meaning as in the Terms of Service.
Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that any content available through our services infringes on your copyright (or that of someone you’re authorized to represent), please send a written notice of copyright infringement to our Designated Agent that includes all the following details:
- A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner;
- A clear identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- A detailed description of the allegedly infringing content, including its specific location, so we can locate and verify it;
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- Your contact information, including full name, physical address, phone number, and email address (if available);
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
What Happens After a Valid Notice Is Received
Upon receiving a complete and valid infringement notice, we may take the following steps:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content;
- Notify the user or content provider who posted the material;
- In cases of repeated violations, terminate the user’s access to our services.
Submitting a Counter-Notice
If you are a content provider and believe that your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our Designated Agent. Your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- A description of the content that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before it was removed;
- A statement of good faith belief that the material was removed in error or misidentified;
- Your name, address, phone number, and email address (if available);
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or any district where AtlantaCorner may be found if outside the U.S.), and that you accept service of process from the party who submitted the original infringement claim.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may inform the original complainant and restore the removed content within 10 to 14 business days, unless the original copyright owner initiates legal action against the content provider.
